This my word of the week 

Inquiry

For Inquiry we went to the aquarium to do some research my favourite part was seeing the penguins getting feed. This picture is us seeing if it's a good healthy home.click me to watch my video

Writing

For writing I did my Haiku I was really proud of it.

A Haiku is 3 lines the first one is 5 syllables the next has 7 and the final has 5 again.

Reading

For reading I really enjoyed the Edmodo tasks.

I enjoyed doing the why the trust is good task it really made me think.

P.E

For P.E we did netball 

I really enjoyed the activities that we did I found it really fun.

Maths

I enjoyed doing my Collabaritve task and Hopscotch 

My Collabaritve task  was really hard and we had to think about  because one little mistake can ruin the whole thing which is what I like.

Hopscotch helps me to code, I used to not know how to code but now I can do it a little bit and it's really enjoyable.

Value

This terms value is responsibility.

I show responsibility by doing my maths learning goals.

 My goal is to pack up after myself.

Writing

Bruno is a 4x4 quad because he gets through hard stuff.

Walt we have been learning to write metaphors and we sent them to other schools there is my best one at the top.

Read Aloud

Read aloud:This term we read a novel called the Bold Ship Phenomanal by Sarah Johnson.It was about a boy named Malachi who went on an adventure with a mysterious bottle.

E.O.T.C

For E.O.T.C we went to Waimarama were we learnt about beach safety and we got to swim in the waves.we then went on a Waka and the person behind me was shouting "tokihi tokihi".We then went and climbed Te Mata Peak, I didn't think it was very tiring but other people thought it was.We then went on a treasure hunt.Next we went for  a sleepover the dinner was delicious.On Friday we went to the Gannets, we then went home.

Respect

I show respect by looking after equipment and cleaning the classroom

In term one we have been working on swimming during Pe. I am in the sharks. My learning goals for this group are to do a perfect tumble turn preform a simple save. Compete in the interschool team. Compete in my school age group and do better butterfly.
